Frequently asked questions

What FrameSeek does, how accurate it is, and how it keeps your images compliant.

What is FrameSeek?
FrameSeek is an AI-powered visual intelligence layer that brings high-precision search to large visual archives, and is part of Verify. It lets teams find any image in millions across their DAM or archive by visual content, not just by keywords or filenames, and it also monitors where those images appear across the web and in print, even after they have been edited. FrameSeek is focused on images, not video search, and is built for media organisations, press agencies, stock libraries and rights holders.
How does FrameSeek track where my images are used, even after editing?
FrameSeek matches images by their visual content, not by filename or metadata, so it recognises the same image after cropping, resizing, compression, colour changes or overlays. It monitors web and print sources and flags where each image appears, with near-100% accuracy even on heavily altered images.
What types of image search does FrameSeek support?
FrameSeek combines five search modalities in one layer: reverse image search, semantic (natural-language) search, OCR to find images by the text on them, person recognition, and similar-image search. Teams can search a large archive in the way that fits the task.
How accurate is FrameSeek on edited or altered images?
FrameSeek is built for accuracy and achieves near-100% matching on images that have been cropped, compressed, filtered or otherwise edited, where standard reverse image search often fails. That accuracy is what lets rights holders prove reuse reliably.
Is FrameSeek GDPR compliant and where is data hosted?
FrameSeek is built and hosted in Europe with EU data residency, and is aligned with the GDPR and the EU AI Act. Person recognition can be hosted locally within our own infrastructure rather than shared with third-party providers.
Who is FrameSeek for?
FrameSeek is designed for media organisations, press agencies, stock libraries and rights holders that manage large visual archives. Dutch national news agency ANP uses FrameSeek to track image reuse across web and print.
